Bare facts about SXSW premieres

Now that I've finally finished posting  reviews of all the movies I covered for Variety at SXSW, I would like to take time to commend actress Christian Serratos for her excellent performance in the indie production 96 Minutes, a suspenseful drama that... OK, I'm not fooling anybody, am I? Yeah, you caught me: Just looking for any old excuse to troll for hits with a little cheesecake as bait.

But seriously: 96 Minutes is just one of 20 SXSW features I reviewed for Variety this year. Among the other  titles: Conan O'Brien Can't Stop, Bridesmaids, Undefeated, Girl Walks Into a Bar, The Innkeepers, The King of Luck, The Divide, Becoming Santa, Happy New Year, Square Grouper: The Godfathers of Ganja,   Weekend, Fly Away, A Year in Mooring, Small, Beautifully Moving Parts, My Sucky Teen Romance, Something Ventured, Incendiary: The Willingham Case, Outside Industry: The Story of SXSW -- and the multiple-prize-winning Natural Selection.
