Just the facts, ma'am

In The Nation, Keith Olbermann explains how his experiences as a sports journalist prepared him to cut through the spin while covering the follies and foibles of the Bush Administration: "In sports, if a center-fielder drops the fly ball, you can't pretend he didn't." Sounds like the guy would have made a nifty film critic, too.

He's needed where he is. By the way, saw you on CNN a week ago or so Joe, referring to Michael Medved as "Mad Dog Medved" Is that your term, or is it out there? Nice comments by the way. Note that Medved doesn't seem to be upset about that new documentary about all the adorable animals in the wombs of their mothers--something that could clearly be taken as a pro-life piece of propoganda aimed at kids...

I was on MNBC when I made that refrence to Michael "Mad Dog" Medved. And, yes, it was my own term -- but, please, feel free to share.

Olbermann is great. I don't get MSNBC on my cable package here in Canada, but I try to see his clips online whenever possible.
