According to
Advertising Age, ABC is slashing the price of an ad during the
Feb. 22 Oscarcast to $1.4 million -- down from $1.7 million for last year's
Academy Awards extravaganza. And, by the way: For the very first time this year, the Motion Picture Academy will allow ads for movies to air during the big show. Hey, things are tough all over.
